Sometimes life feels a lot like a tournament; like a single-elimination contest in which we must “win, or go home.”
But it’s not.
While at times life may feel tournament-intense, there is one critical difference: in life, there’s always a next round.
You can’t “lose” as long as you decide to keep playing.
The key to success: don’t fall in love with victory, fall in love with the game.
Choose to keep practicing, to keep getting better. Choose to keep moving forward regardless of what happened in the previous “round.”
Every day you have a choice to start again with a “fresh” bracket; the opportunity to pick a new winner.
You just have to choose to do so.
And if you do…if you work hard enough, for long enough, there’s a good chance you’ll eventually cut down the nets.
Survive and advance? It’s all up to you.
