If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
Services Description
Sands Leadership provides:
- Executive coaching and leadership development programs
- Team development and training services
- Educational newsletters and content
- Assessment tools through our SPI platform
- Online courses and learning programs
- Consultation and advisory services
Note: UpCoach services are governed by separate terms and conditions.
User Responsibilities
Account Registration
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information
- Maintain the security of your login credentials
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
- You are responsible for all activities under your account
Acceptable Use
You agree to:
- Use our services for lawful purposes only
- Provide honest and accurate responses in assessments
- Respect intellectual property rights
- Maintain confidentiality of other participants' information
- Follow all program guidelines and instructions
Prohibited Activities
You may not:
- Share assessment login credentials with others
- Attempt to manipulate or game assessment results
- Copy, distribute, or reverse engineer our proprietary tools
- Use our services to harm, harass, or violate others' rights
- Upload malicious code or attempt to breach security
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation
Assessment Platform Terms
Sands Performance Assessment & Sands Values Platform Usage
- Assessment results are generated based on your responses and our proprietary algorithms
- Individual results are confidential to you and designated organizational contacts
- Assessments should be completed honestly for accurate results
- You retain ownership of your personal responses; we retain rights to anonymized, aggregated data
Data Accuracy
- Results are for developmental purposes and should not be used as the sole basis for employment decisions
- We do not guarantee specific outcomes from using our assessments or programs
- You are responsible for how you interpret and apply assessment results
Intellectual Property
Our Content
All content, including but not limited to:
- Assessment methodologies and algorithms
- Training materials and curricula
- Newsletter content and articles
- Website design and functionality
- Trademarks and logos
remains the exclusive property of Sands Leadership and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Your Content
You retain ownership of any personal information or content you provide. By using our services, you grant us a limited license to use your content to provide services and generate anonymized insights.
Payment and Billing
Program Fees
- All fees are due as specified in your enrollment agreement
- Prices are subject to change with reasonable notice
- Refunds are provided according to our refund policy communicated at enrollment
Late Payments
Late payments may result in suspension of services until payment is received.
Newsletter and Communications
Subscription
- Newsletter subscriptions are voluntary and can be canceled at any time
- We may send service-related communications even if you unsubscribe from marketing emails

Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these terms or our services will first be addressed through good faith mediation. If mediation is unsuccessful within 60 days, disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration under American Arbitration Association rules in Charleston, South Carolina. Both parties agree to share mediation costs equally, with each party responsible for their own attorney fees during mediation.
